It’s easily our favourite season. Why? The answer is simple really, the unfolding of seasonal inspired designs and trends help us transform our homes/spaces into a lifestyle that is inviting and warm.
So pop the kettle on, slip into your favourite fluffy robe and let’s explore a few ways you can transition from Summer to Autumn throughout your unique space.
Invite colour and texture into your space through switching up your palette and introducing warmer hues; olive green textured scatter cushions, rust throws and warm linen upholstery.
Ambient lighting highlighting certain areas of your home; bedside table pendants, study nook or home office and even your living area, creating focus areas and a grounding mood.
Floor rugs; creating warmth and texture under foot. Floor rugs also shape your space when used to frame the end of the bed, or divide the dining room from the living room in those open plan spaces. Tip: opt for a wool blend (60% Wool / 40% Polyester or Nylon) to truly create that “warmth under foot” feel and this blend will also provide durability and is easy to maintain.
Swapping out your plastic planters for ceramic, terracotta or resin. Not only does this help the environment, but it is more warmer and substantial, and looks better too!
