Before + After: The Kitchen Edit
The heart of this home is undoubtedly the kitchen. Here, we aimed to create a spacious haven with a touch of sleekness. The combination of timber, stone and warm white finishes brings a sense of warmth and lightness, perfectly embodying the modern aesthetic, as well as the luxurious appliances by NEFF. With the installation of a seamless modern pendant light and the waterfall edge island bench design, adorned in white, this area of the home provides a spacious and inviting space for gathering and preparing meals. Built and installed by SKY JOINERY, the design hosts a 2.6m CAESERSTONE island bench, with floor to ceiling flush joinery in POLYTEC PRIME OAK. With practicality and ample storage in mind, the design came together to suit the family of 5. The timber cabinetry adds an organic touch and contributes to the overall visual harmony.
The coastal sleek design is enhanced by an abundance of natural light that streams through the glass doors and skylight, creating an airy and open atmosphere. Having said that, the kitchens also needs practical sources of artificial light: ambient lighting to create an overall glow, task lighting to illuminate workspaces and accent lighting to highlight features in the space.
With Spring in full swing, it’s that time of the season where indulging with our loved ones and entertaining at home is a crucial element of the Australian lifestyle. So, you want your kitchen to serve your needs, be functional, and express your personal taste - all in one.
